Charice Singing Beyonce's 'Halo' Is NOT 'Glee' Audition

Several sources have been claiming that a YouTube video of Charice singing Beyonce's 'Halo' was her audition for Glee. This is a yet another rumor that is absolutely FALSE.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News Philippines,

"[Charice] said the video was taken during her meeting with the people of US Magazine.... Charice said she can't divulge anything about her Glee audition because it's strictly confidential. She can't even say the title of the song she performed for Glee."

At the very end of the so-called "audition," the others in the room asked her if she was going to be on Glee. There is also an entire wall of US Magazine covers on the left wall. C'mon people. Let's use some common sense before we start spreading silly rumors.

Even though this video is not her audition tape, she sings 'Halo' beautifully. It's definitely worth watching!!! Rachel Berry is going to have some tough competition!

Notice the HALO arrangement its strictly pop rock version. Her mentor David Foster bought the rights of the song HALO for her in late 2008 or early 2009

Everybody who is her fan (Chaster) knows from the beginning that, that isn't her audition tape. The person who took that video is also a Chaster aka crazyforyou or rca45na on youtube, and also works for U.S. Weekly. And it is part 6 of the 6 part videos he took of the interview with U.S. Weekly, this being part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFDu9ymqF-Y
We Chasters already saw this video like last week, as you can see the owner of the video say in the beginning to Charice, say hi to the Chasters. Staffs and editor of U.S. Weekly have also been publicly twitting and blogging about this encounter since last week. Then this week, just like yesterday, we were surprised at people twitting about this as her audition video. Then we checked, and we saw that indeed someone had stolen the video on youtube and posted the titile - Charice Glee audition on it! He even disabled the comments section... So yeah, thanks for clarifying it to everybody too that, this is not her audition video....

I have replaced the stolen youtube video with the original video taken by rca45na. I believe this rumor was started to defend Charice's role on Glee, but I don't believe it's necessary to mislead people in order to prove a point. There is no question that she is very talented and many people will realize that after seeing her on the show next season. Thanks for posting!

i love glee. i scream everytime it comes on or everytime i see the cast. im obsessed and i used to think neighbours was my favourite tv show bull GLEE is the most best show in the entire world and i adore it. love you glee cast, and i have all your shirts, all your dvds and cds love yas! <3
