More original music on the way for GLEE

DigitalSpy has interviewed Columbia/Epic chairman Rob Stringer who has revealed that there are plans to include more original material in future episodes of GLEE. When will they be featured on the show? Who will sing them?

The ] show premiered two original tracks, titled "Loser Like Me" and "Get It Right", last month, which went on to reach number six and 16 on the US Hot 100 singles chart respectively.

Stringer, who helped show creator Ryan Murphy develop the series, has now explained to Music Week that more original songs are to come. He said, "There will definitely be new songs going forward, although not every week.

"We will spread the net as wide as we can as we go on to find people who are suitable to write songs for certain characters."
