RUMOR: Matthew Morrison & "30 Rock's" Jane Krakowski to star in TV movie musical?Will GLEE actor Matthew Morrison and 30 Rock actress Jane Krakowski sing together in an upcoming made-for-TV movie musical, which recently had a Broadway revival, this holiday season? Both have starred on Broadway in Hairspray & South Pacific, and Starlight Express & Nine, respectively. Promises, Promises, with music by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, was recently revived on Broadway starring Sean Hayes and GLEE guest star Kristin Chenoweth as the two leads, Chuck Baxter and Fran Kubelik, respecitively. Hayes was nominated for a 2010 Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his portrayal. Previous Chucks & Frans included, Jerry Orbach & Jill O'Hara (original Broadway cast), and Tony Roberts & Betty Buckley (original London cast). The revival was produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron who together have produced the theatrical movie musicals, Chicago and Hairspray, among others, and TV movie versions of Annie starring Victor Garber & Kathy Bates, and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella starring Brandy and Whitney Houston. They are also producers of the current Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying starring Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe, and John Larroquette. What do you think?
